As most people know, the Oregon coast is “beautiful”.   We spent more time there than we expected.  Every scenic view area gives you something different to see and there were lots of tourist and locals taking pictures.   We were very surprised to see so much fog -- even during the day.   It was like a very low cloud and hovered very close to the shore line.  As we drove in the mountains along the coast, the fog -- or clouds -- were still there.   We stopped at one area for a couple of hours, taking our pictures and watching people come and go.   They jumped out of the car with their camera and seemed to shiver and grab a coat and head down to the water for their picture of a lifetime.  The temperature was in the high 50’s.
