The Teton’s were very spectacular.   However, they would have been more spectacular if it had not been for the smoke.  There were fires nearby so they were getting smoke from any direction the wind was blowing.  Smoke was heavy in the morning and cleared up in the afternoon.

We were told there is no town named Jackson Hole Wyoming.  Early mountain men called a valley a “hole” and Jackson Hole is the name of the valley at the Grand Teton’s which was named after an early mountain man.
