Hoover Dam ----- wow!!!  Pretty spectacular.

When we got there, we had to park a long way “up” in the designated area for RVs.   The walk down started out okay, but the 109 degree temperature didn’t take long to take effect.  Poor Archie wanted to take a tour, but i couldn’t do it.   Shaking and feeling sick, all I wanted to do was get cool.   Soooo, Archie walked back up and got the camper and drove down to get me.   We left and drove in to Las Vegas and spent the night.

A word of advice.  If you visit Hoover Dam in August, be sure you visit in the morning when it’s the coolest, preferrably a cloudy day.
